This illuminated shower head features color changing LED’s which are temperature sensitive. The light goes from white when the water is cold, to blue, then purple, then red when the water is hot.
This device takes no battery, or electricity what so ever, and is powered by the water running through it. Its also easy to install. Just unscrew your current shower head, and screw this one right on.
This would be great for those romantic showers for two. No need for the regular light.

Looks great, and likely feels it also!

wow…. people get lazier and lazier. I just use my finger to tell how hot the shower is…
December 12th, 2007 at 1:37 am
I somehow doubt anyone is using this for testing temperature. It’s more for cool factor.
December 12th, 2007 at 1:59 am
Honestly, gond, I think it’s more for the effect than for telling how hot the water is.

I can always tell responders that don’t have kids. Function, function, function. Teach your 11 yr to check the color, no scalding.
December 12th, 2007 at 7:51 am
The color sequence is wrong - it should be blue when coldest, white or yellow for medium, red for hot. Forget about the purple.
December 12th, 2007 at 7:56 am
Interesting, but the colors don’t seem to always match the temperature. Logically, wouldn’t it go from light blue to bright red?
Anyway, neat idea. It does look cool.
December 13th, 2007 at 5:35 am
The colors are not based on literal temp representations, but figurative ones. White light is normal, regular, everyday shower–boring. Get into a new-looking shower, anything but white, anything but normal-looking.
I would be excited to see gradients of color

I think it’s pretty cool yet I am pretty geeky though. Oh the irony. I thought up a purpose for it. Some people shower with the light off in the bathroom makes it more relaxing, this way you could see just enough in the shower and know if the water is hot or not, nobody likes cold showers
