Break me off a piece of that… Flash drive?? This portable hard drive looks like a chocolate bar but thats where the similarities end. Each piece is made of a modular flash drive. The central hub is a touchscreen to help you view and organize your collective files. In theory it sounds clever and usable but would this really work in the real world?

Haha sweet.
You could use it to store some data you’re working on together with other people. Everybody get’s a piece of the data, but it would only be readable if all pieces are set.
Hmm sounds like some secret service mission stuff. Go Go Power Chocolates!!

Yeah it’s a million usb sticks cramped together and we all know the terrible transfer rates of usb sticks… compare that to a REAL external hdd.
It’s good only if under $40 and at least 100gig…

This would work! The only limitation is that you would need all the drives at once and not add any. The you could put them in a RAID 0 array and get speeds most likely over that of a conventional hard drive. Still would cost a fortune for those little drives, but a great alternative to an external SSD.
