Mogo Wireless announced a new cellular amplifier that helps users avoid dropped calls caused by bad signals in areas where service is less than perfect. The device is supposed to give a 10x signal boost when plugged into a car power supply or into a laptop via USB. There is also an optional 12V to 110 adaptor accessory for home or office use. Once plugged in, it will wirelessly recognize your phone and begin working without any further adjustment. Mogo is compatible with almost all service providers as well as all Bluetooth devices. You should see it in stores later this year for around $149.

New Zealand too! And not even in the “out back”. Our signal gets dodgy as soon as you leave suburbia.

my company is right across the street where my service provider is (huge antenna included), and I don’t get a decent signal either… we had to hang all sorts of boosters to get a decent signal.
