it looks like theres a slide out compartment under the main desk surface, like those old retractable keyboard shelves. That’s plenty of room to write on if you need to, or put drinks/food/whatever on.
Pretty neat.

I don’t know why everyone says there isn’t any space. It seems to me it has plenty of room to put stuff. It just isn’t all concentrated in one spot. Anyways that is most definatly more room than any computer desk I ever had.

I thought this was a built in drum machine =P it does look cool though, not for that price tag.
